Body Butter

Massage our crème-like body butter, using circular motions all over your body after showering or bathing to keep your skin feeling hydrated and silky smooth. Remember to give your elbows and knees some extra care.

Through careful selection, we keep our ingredients to a minimum to make sure you get the maximum benefit from our nourishing body crème.

Mango butter – The plentiful quantities of Vitamin C and Vitamin E naturally found in mangos may help protect your skin from blue light from screens, pollution, and sunlight.

Cocoa butter* – is rich in fatty acids which may help to keep skin hydrated and assist in nourishing dry, damaged skin.

Coconut oil* – is known to contains nourishing fatty acids that help protect and hydrate skin. Including linoleic acid (vitamin F), which helps skin retain moisture and  lauric acid, which has antibacterial properties.

MCT oil* – is naturally rich in antioxidants and contains healthy fatty acids. It’s a lightweight, nourishing oil that conditioning the skin and provides moisture that won’t leave you feeling greasy.

Our own natural hemp oil – bursting with hundreds of active botanicals that have traditionally been used to soothe, heal and protect the skin. Research indicates some have anti-inflammatory qualities.

Jojoba oil* – rich in nutrients such as Vitamin E and B, essential fatty acids and antioxidants that work together to help fight premature ageing, repair damaged skin cells, and lock in lasting moisture and hydration to your skin.

Arrowroot powder – It is packed with essential fatty acids and minerals such as calcium, folate, magnesium, sodium, omega-3 & 6 fatty acids, and potassium. Which do wonders for the skin. It also absorbs moisture which stops our oil from being so oily.

Lavender* – is known to be soothing and calming, to assist with relieving stress, anxiety, and nervous tension. But we use it for its antiseptic, cleansing and detoxifying properties, making it perfect for sensitive, irritated, and dry skin.

Vitamin E – with wonderful moisturising and wound-healing properties it can help skin go from dry and damaged to soft and healthy.

Frankincense*– is known to be comforting and calming if you are feeling stressed out or anxious. It is also marvellous for your skin, assisting in reducing wrinkles, blemishes, stretchmarks, and scars. It balances both oily and dry mature skin as well.

Our 100% natural 1848 Ellis Nourished Glow is packed with botanicals – there’s no room for these nasties:

• Mineral oils
• Artificial colours
• Artificial scents
• Phthalates
• SLS

Each 240g body crème is safely and hygienically packaged into glass tubs with bamboo lids. Glass is truly recyclable, and bamboo is a renewable resource, biodegradable, and recyclable with some councils. When your body crème is finished, you can reuse or recycle the glass container and compost the lid or if you can’t compost by popping it in the bin knowing it will biodegrade naturally somewhere between 4 months and 3 years, depending on the environment & conditions.
